A Few Tips
For the Bulletin
- If your bulletin prints in black and white, use the bulletin ad. The color ads have dark backgrounds that print heavy in one ink.
- Send the PDF to your bulletin publisher or printer. The bulletin ad is made to run at 3.6 in wide.
- Don’t print an ad smaller than the width listed under it, or the QR code may not scan. Test it with your own phone before the bulletin goes out.
- Run the blurb below beside the ad, or on its own in the announcements.
For Email and the Web
- Use the PNG, set to the width of your newsletter (about 600 px in most email tools). The large file stays sharp on phones.
- Link the picture to AngelusBell.org. Someone reading on a phone can’t scan a QR code on the same screen.
- The widescreen ad fills a TV or a projector slide, for announcements in the parish hall or the classroom.
Please don’t crop out the QR code.
Bulletin Blurb
A few lines to run beside the ad or on their own. Copy and paste them as they are.
For centuries, church bells called the faithful to pause and pray the Angelus at morning, noon, and evening. The free Angelus Bell app brings these bells back! Complete with the words of the prayer right there on your screen, it works on iPhone, Android, and Chrome browser. No ads and entirely free! Get it at AngelusBell.org.
